A Nurse’s Pick of On-Line Health Newsletters

I subscribe to a number of on-line health newsletters. There is just so much going on in the health field that it is hard to keep up sometimes. Newsletters are a good way to capture the top health stories and most recent studies. I want the health information I read to come from a credible and responsible source so I am careful about my choice of newsletters. Here are my top pics:
webMDnewsletter- an informative weekly newsletter from Web MD with up-to-date health information
Housecall - I find anything by Mayo Clinic incredibly reliable. Make sure you subscribe to this one!
Heart Patient News- Want to know what’s new in the treatment of heart failure? atrial fibrillation? high cholesterol? This is the newsletter for you.
Diabetes In Control Newsletter- I like the positive slant of this newsletter chuck full of good information for diabetics. Take control of your diabetes now!
Caregiver.com Weekly Newsletter- Many people struggle each day with the responsibilites of being a caregiver. This newsletter is your online support place.
Tufts Health and Nutrition Newsletter- The best information on nutrition. Unfortunately this isn’t a free newsletter but it is worth the money.
